It has not been a good summer in the x-files world. I can count the number of scenes I liked from the movie on one hand...namely, 3 fingers. I just read about DD going to rehab for a sex-addiction. I don't know why, maybe I'm being a little judgmental, but that disturbs me on so many levels. I actually skipped over Trust the Man this afternoon because the character is essentially a sex-addict as well. I hope he recovers and has a successful run in rehab. I wish him and his family the best of luck...I don't think he should have gone public with it. I don't think anyone would have really found out, at least not until he got out. After I saw the movie, I refrained from going on any x-files websites just because I was so disappointed and afraid of the back-lash. Anyway, I did not make good on my promise to deliver icons on a regular basis, and, at this point, I really don't feel like icon-ing the x-files. Like I said...sad.

I'll probably post up the ones I already have soon...and maybe venture into a new fandom :)
That said, I will always be a phile at heart. It's just that sometimes, we need to learn how to let go. I think its time to let the characters rest in peace, Chris Carter.
